Michael Gerenser

Director, Marketing and Business Operations

As the head of REDCOM’s marketing department, Michael is responsible for overseeing all customer-reaching marketing activities, including the company website, outreach campaigns, trade shows, advertising, and corporate communications. He leads a team of marketing professionals who work together to drive growth and win customers.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in New Media from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from RIT with a concentration in Digital Marketing and Leadership.

Michael began his career at REDCOM in 2004 as a creative designer in the marketing department, where he supported the sales staff by developing customer-focused collateral, presentations, and promotional materials. Six years later, Michael moved on to lead the company’s marketing communications efforts. As a REDCOM veteran, Michael knows the ins and outs of the company and is always thinking strategically about how to grow the REDCOM brand.

Michael is a third-degree black belt in Kuk Sool Won, an activity that strengthened his leadership skills. In his free time, he fixes and builds things in his workshop at home, and he enjoys kayaking, biking, and taking walks with his wife and three dogs.
