Chris Shortt is a Program Manager for REDCOM where he engages with users of REDCOM products to give updates and provide support and services for these clients as needed. Chris is a retired Army Captain, having served 21 years for his country in various roles.
He served in the 75th Ranger Regiment from 2002-2005 where he did five deployments. From 2006-2010, Chris served in the 3rd Infantry Division as Infantry Team Leader among other roles. He then moved to the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division where he served for two years Squad Leader, Weapons Squad Leader, and Platoon Sergeant. From 2012-2016, Chris moved to 6th Ranger Training Brigade where he served as Ranger Instructor. Chris then transitioned to Varsity Coach at Missouri State University student ROTC Cadre, then from 2019-2023 Chris served as Infantry Office then Signal Officer for the 1st Brigade Combat Team. With such a strong history serving his country in the U.S. Army, Chris Shortt is highly capable and confident serving REDCOM’s military customers.
Having worked with a variety of people in a multitude of situations throughout his career, Chris brings his ability to both collaborate and work autonomously to his work at REDCOM, along with his out-of-the-box creative thinking — serving him well in understanding customer goals. Chris is always willing to learn, grow, and help others wherever he can. He is passionate about communications and the development of more effective means for our warfighters. Whatever he can do to help those on the front line, regardless of position, that’s his goal. In his free time, Chris loves spending time with his wife and his four kids.
