We’re proud to announce that REDCOM President and CEO Dinah Gueldenpfennig Weisberg has officially been appointed to the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Board of Trustees. The board now consists of 48 active trustees, including 29 alumni and 34 trustee emeriti.
“We are excited to have Dinah join our Board of Trustees as she will bring a unique perspective as both an RIT alumna and a leading business executive,” said RIT President David Munson. “The chief purpose of the board is to provide thoughtful governance for the university, and Dinah’s multiple experiences will add tremendous value.”
The Board of Trustees approves the annual operating budget and assures the financial viability of the University. The board also approves the University’s vision, mission, and strategic focus and assures the Institute has an effective system of governance.
REDCOM has many strong ties to RIT. More than 30 percent of the employees at REDCOM — including the company’s founders and several members of the leadership team — are graduates of RIT’s business and software engineering programs.
