Victor, NY — REDCOM Laboratories, Inc., the leading supplier of advanced communications solutions for the tactical edge, is proud to announce the successful interoperability test between REDCOM Sigma and Exacom HindSight. This interoperability test demonstrates a proven and secure call recording solution ideally suited for sensitive government and military networks.
As part of the interoperability testing, REDCOM connected a REDCOM Sigma XRI-400 to Exacom’s HindSight Multimedia Logging Recorder software. REDCOM Sigma is a robust C2 Communications platform with voice, video, chat, and conferencing. Exacom’s HindSight multimedia logger records audio, video, text/SMS, IoT, metadata, events, and more for mission-critical communications. Both REDCOM Sigma and Exacom HindSight have completed rigorous testing and certification with JITC and are listed on the DoDIN Approved Products List.
The two systems were able to seamlessly interoperate, allowing for encrypted voice, video, chat, and radio communications from REDCOM to be securely recorded on the HindSight platform.
“The United States is taking steps at the Federal and Department of Defense levels to strengthen our national cybersecurity defenses,” said Exacom Director Business Development Robert (Bob) Mohr. “However, it is the vendors’ job to ensure their technologies conform to cybersecurity guidelines and standards. To protect sensitive and confidential communications, Exacom and REDCOM are the first in line to make sure our communication solutions are independently secure and securely work together. This successful testing means that our mutual customers can have confidence in the security and functionality of their communication and recording platforms.”
“REDCOM and Exacom share a similar mission: we both design reliable, standards-based products built to meet the exacting security requirements for the government and defense industry,” said REDCOM Solutions Architect Steve Lawless. “Configuring our products into a secure call recording solution was a straightforward exercise.”
