Monroe County Office of Emergency Management
Amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, Monroe County, New York needed to limit the number of people on-site. This resulted in the need for real-time communication and conferencing solutions. With their existing conferencing solution presenting several ease-of-use challenges, they turned to REDCOM for support.
The REDCOM Conference Manager was installed and fully functional within hours, allowing officials to focus on managing emergencies without interruptions or distractions.
The City of Los Angeles and the LA Fire Department
REDCOM was selected to update the Los Angeles fire station alerting communications network system. To reduce cost and lower risk, the LAFD needed a way to keep their existing fire station alerting system operational while moving to an all-IP network.
REDCOM developed a phased approach that enabled the city to keep its existing system while providing a path to migrate to IP without impacting end-to-end operations.
