REDCOM Announces Two New XRI Models
REDCOM has released two new models for the XRI product family, the XRI-PCIe and the XRI-M4R. XRI-M4R is a slim 4-port radio gateway that can add radio gateway functionality to an existing Sigma installation or can act as an expansion to existing XRI-400. XRI-PCIe is a 4-port radio gateway expansion card that installs into an available Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) slot on a PC or server.
Testing Sigma with MASCPs at NetModX
REDCOM participated in the Mobile and Survivable Command Post testing (MASCP) at NetModX with our Sigma Client and XRI-400 devices. REDCOM fitted several armored vehicles with a Sigma XRI-400 and a laptop running the Sigma Client for Windows to test the system’s operational capacity as the C2 controller in a MASCP.
REDCOM Sigma XRI is fully interoperable with ARC-210 radios
REDCOM Sigma XRI has been confirmed interoperable with the Collins Aerospace ARC-210 radio. This interoperability will greatly improve warfighters’ ability to establish and maintain ground-to-air communications. The XRI can crossband the ARC-210’s unique electronic with traditional RF frequencies, MANET radios, and more.
