EspañolREDCOM Laboratories, Inc., a leading developer and supplier of advanced tactical communications systems for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), announced the release of two new models in the Sigma XRI family of products: Sigma XRI-M4R and Sigma XRI-PCIe.
The Sigma XRI product line comprises intelligent low-SWaP RoIP gateways that deliver a full spectrum of C2 comms and radio interoperability, all powered by REDCOM Sigma software. These two new additions to the XRI product family provide warfighters with additional opportunities to implement Sigma software and radio crossbanding, greatly expanding interoperability at the tactical edge.
XRI-PCIe
Sigma XRI-PCIe is a 4-port radio gateway expansion card that installs into an available Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) slot on a PC or server. The XRI-PCIe is a great way to add Sigma XRI to existing deployed tactical servers without increasing overhead.
XRI-M4R
Sigma XRI-M4R is a slim 4-port radio gateway that can add radio gateway functionality to an existing Sigma installation or can act as an expansion to existing XRI-400 installations by doubling the number of analog radio ports from four to eight. The XRI-M4R is also an ideal solution for adding radio gateway functionality to an existing comms kit where software is virtualized on a single server platform.
