REDCOM receives Top Workplace Award for third consecutive year

June 20, 2022

REDCOM Laboratories, Inc. is proud to announce that the company has been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by The Democrat and Chronicle for the third consecutive year. The list of Top Workplaces is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, performance, engagement, and leadership, just to name a few.

“We are so pleased to be recognized for the third year in a row as a Top Workplace in Rochester. This “threepeat” award means so much to us this year as we continue to focus on a great work experience for our employees,” remarked REDCOM’s Director of Human Resources, Kara Martin. “We have proudly cultivated a family culture over the last 43 years. Last fall, we lost our beloved founder, Klaus Gueldenpfennig. We are so proud that we have been able to keep his vision and dream going through our employees.”

REDCOM’s mission centers around enabling the most important conversations in the world for customers that include all branches of the military, government agencies, and first responders. In a complex and competitive industry, REDCOM stands out from other communications companies by focusing on a refined set of functions that are integral to mission security.

“We know that REDCOM produces products of the highest quality, reliability, and interoperability and that is because of our employees’ dedication to REDCOM and our customers,” continues Martin. “On behalf of REDCOM, I want to thank all of our employees, not only for their feedback that led to this award, but for their hard work, their loyalty, and their commitment to making REDCOM a wonderful place to work.”

After navigating two years of COVID-19, REDCOM has kept their employees connected and driven towards a common goal. “As employees continue to return to the office more often, it is the laughter in the hallways, the hugs of old friends, and the impromptu chats that we realize we have all missed so much,” mentions Martin.  “Personally, it is such an honor to work for a company where employees recognize their value and are recognized for their contributions.”
